As Director and Owner of Barbara Treleaven School of Dancing, I am pleased to offer you the fine facilities of our dance studio and the vast knowledge of our qualified staff. Barbara Treleaven School of Dancing began offering dance classes 50 years ago, under the direction of my mother Barbara, and through experience we have developed an educational dance curriculum fit for dancers of all ages and levels. Philippa Madigan
Member C.D.T.A. (Ballet)
Philippa received most of her training at the National Ballet School of Canada in Toronto. During her competitive years, she was the recipient of several major ballet awards. She has successfully trained dancers for all levels of exams.
Ronda Hart
Member of C.D.T.A. (Ballet, Tap, Jazz), D.E.A., and A.I.S.T.D.
Graduate of Prestigious National Ballet Teachers Training Program
Bachelor of Education (Trent University)
Ronda has taught ballet, modern, tap and jazz at several studios across the province including for the Dance program at Cambrian College. She has trained both recreational and competitive students at our studio over the past decade and has won several awards for outstanding choreography.
Marg McDiarmid

Following her youth dance training Marg studied dance at York University. She later obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Nipissing University. She then returned to teach at our studio for over ten years. Marg has also been very involved in community theatre groups as choreographer in the past. Recently Marg has received a Bachelor of Education and teaches now at Widdifield S.S. With more than 20 years teaching experience, we are pleased to have Marg back with us again.
Hollie Roy
Hollie is a young and enthusiastic teacher who is experienced with beginner dancers as she assists them to develop their basic skills.
Traci Brooks
Recently Traci became a member of C.D.T.A. Tap . Traci is an accomplished performer and brings a great energy to her students. She has passed major examinations in ballet and tap and will focus her expertise on developing our junior and competitive students.
Carly Ling
Carly has been dancing with BTS Dance since she was a toddler. Over the years she has grown into a beautiful and mature dancer. Recently Carly teaches some of our young dancers and they really take to her energy and positive manner.
Natasha Murdoch
A qualified B.A.T.D. tap teacher, and associate member of C.D.T.A Tap, Natasha brings years of teaching all forms of dance experience with a new style to our studio. Parents and students have already praised her teaching tecniques. Welcome Natasha!
